Hi all, unfortunately our hopes of starting off the new year with lots of football have been derailed by the rain and our pitches flooding! Despite good drainage on the pitches the high volumes of water have made them unsafe to play on this Sunday. Our volunteers, keen to get play underway, spent some time today spiking the pitches. However, with the water level being so high it had little impact.

We will continue to look at alternative options, such as 3G pitches at other sites, but let’s hope that we will have some calmer weather soon!
