Congratulations to the Raglan JFC under 13s and 14s players who represented Newport County AFC in the Utilita EFL Girls Cup Area Finals last week in Bristol.

Playing with other Monmouth Comprehensive School students against teams from Bristol Rovers, Swansea and Plymouth they got all the way to the Semi Finals where they lost in a closely contested match against hosts Bristol City. They were denied an equaliser in the dying minutes with a disallowed goal! The Monmouth Comprehensive School staff could not fault the effort of our girls as they gave it everything, right up to the final whistle!

We are very proud of the 5 Raglan JFC players who competed and showed great spirit and sport ethic.
